Hey,

How are you doing, blog-readers?? I am not doing very well with the adaptation again... it hasn't gone much further since the last post. I have had unexpected assignments to prepare for University that have delayed it. I have to say also, that I am involved in a couple of short films that some friends are developing with passion, and I am happily enjoying with it but... busy, busy, busy.... where is Patxi nowadays? in an island, in a continent, earth, heaven, in limbo???

Well, I am still here alive (I think, lately I have so many doubts... :P) but the adaptation is on pause... and it doesn't look like is going to be replayed till easter. I am going to Spain for one week, from the 27th of March till the 3rd of April, and then (or there...) I will find myself time to finish things because...

I am so bloody stressed because I have a 1000 unfinished things around; I have to finish painting a coat, I have to finish Limbo, finish my assignments, finish my degree (2, one in London, another one in Madrid), finish my website, finish a couple of films I started watching last week...

Or maybe I shouldn't start so many things...

Espero que esto no sean falsas noticias pero creo que para mediados de marzo la adaptación de Limbo estará terminada. Solamente depende de un par de cosas que estoy haciendo en estos momentos, y cuán fructífero se adviene el fin de semana... necesito arreglar unas cosas en el ordenador antes de terminar la adaptacion, y me gustaría también hacer unos dibujos (o storyboards) antes de organizar el primer encuentro con todo el equipo. El cortometraje es bastante viable al final, gracias a la adaptación; vamos a demostrar que es posible crear un buen producto con poco dinero, gracias a nuestro entusiasmo, creatividad y cooperación.

Una cosa que tengo en mente antes del primer encuentro es preparar el plan de producción en relación con mi disponibilidad dado que yo voy a ser el primero en estar ocupado, y en términos de rodaje voy a estar presente en todo momento como director, pero también me gustaría tratar con temas de producción como la localización, el casting, etc (esto lo comentaré también en la reunión)

Espero que a todos os vaya bien con vuestros proyectos, espero mantener este blog más actualizado en los próximos meses (así como apañármelas para hacer las traducciones y mantener versiones bilingües de los contenidos como estoy haciendo en este momento)

I hope these are not false news but I think that by mid-march the adaptation will be done. It depends in a couple of things I am doing at the moment, and how fruitful this weekend arrives... I also need to fix some things on my computer before I can start the next move to finish the adaptation, and also I would like to do some illustrations (or storyboards) before I arrange the first production team meeting. The short seems quite feasible at the end, thanks to the adaptation, we are going to prove that it is possible to create a good product with little money, thanks to our motivation, creativity and cooperation.

One thing I have in mind before meeting will be preparing the production plan along my availability as I will be the first one to be busy, and in terms of filming I am going to be present all the time, as a director, but also I will be dealing with production such as location, casting and so on (this things will be presented on the meeting I am planning)
