I had my first lecture on photography at University. It was quite impressive, the lecturer made it quite interesting and It made me feel excited in learning this technique. However, I would say that as I see that this is a module made for students of Fine Arts I will stay on my filmic side and... will continue being dinamic. We have been recomended to go to some photography galleries, which I would enjoy going if I had the time, thus I will keep on my dinamism and rather than admirate those mirrored images of human orchestation I will prefer to orchestate something that perdurates in time and that recreates space as it does cinema. If a single picture might be complex analyzing about, imagine 24 images per second... that's how I feel and will continue pulling the mechanism of my actions.
We were introduced to the world of different photographers as Eugene Smith, Minor White, Brad Western, Anne Saddams, Frederic Heavens, Gene Smith, David Beiley, Paul Strand, Julian Margaret or Richard Avedon (the only one I knew about) between others.
Cinema and Photography I think should have some relation, but there should be taught this in a proper module fitted for Film Studies. I will try my best to combine the knowledge I'll be adquiring with my knowledge of filmmaking.
