I just wanted to post this image of 'Las Meninas' made by a photographer from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria as I have been really impressed by this version. Specially now that I have started to learn about photography. Her name is Jaqueline Vanek. Go and check yourself her work, is quite amazing.

By the way, why did I pick up this particular picture? well... because I am inmersed into a small script of a minute based in mirrored images... basically, my story is mirrored in time and space, and they are both tricked and confusing. There is a picture of 'Las Meninas' by Velazquez and later the Picasso version of the same. I am focused specially on the door of the background as I have been provided an IN point for my 1 minute short film as a door opening, and an OUT point as a door closing... Well, it has always been dubious wether that man in the background was opening or closing that door... well, is not absolutely true: the question has always been if he is going upstairs or downstairs, but it might be a question opened on my minute video where heaven and hell are a question towards wich direction 2 characters might take... lets see how it looks like when I finish it.
